Voted 5/5 | I was looking at the La Sportiva S Evo GTX and they were too tight in the toes so I looked to these as a comparable boot and they fit magnificently. I wore them on a 5 day snowshoeing trip in Northern Minnesota with temps ranging from 0-30 and they kept me warm and dry. They got a little cold in the toes in the lower range temps if I was just standing around, but I kept plently warm while moving. Didn't have any issues with hot spots even though they didn't get a break in period.
I also took them on vertical ice. They take hybrid crampons and I thought they were great on the 60 ft climbs I was doing WI 4. Very light, they feel like nothing is on your feet so if you like light feet these are great.
I would highly recommend them | | Posted Jan 15, 2008 11:17 pm |
