A basic, top-loading, medium-capacity pack for alpinism and general mountaineering.

-Lashing slots on side-flap things

Voted 5/5 | Before this, I was using my Army issue ALICE pack, which is pretty poorly designed for use with human torsos. This pack is quite nice, not as nice as Arc'teryx military packs or their Acrux/Bora/Etc's, but it's also something like 1/4 the price.

Voted 5/5 | Great weight, features for ice cragging or day-long alpine routes. The ice axe attachment features are the best I've seen on ice packs, but the best feature I like is the mesh helmet attachment in the lid - your helmet rides on top and when not in use can be stashed for nice, clean lines. | | Posted Dec 7, 2007 3:04 pm |
