At 3lbs 2 oz. you cannot afford not to pack this. For those who want some seriously comfortable sleep along with extra warmth the Thermarest Luxary Camp is the way to go. The pad is 2.5 inches thick and is somewhat bothersome to pack (SIZE) but not when you get great results after one nights sleep. I would not recommend this to a light hiker (DUH!) remember I am a Terraplane X hiker so I pack everything and the kitchen sink.
If you have a desire for GREAT sleep and don't mind carrying a extra pound of comfort, THIS IS A EXCELLENT PRODUCT!!!
