Voted 5/5 | Maxim has always been a supple rope and this double dry remains the same throughout it's life time. Just a pleasure to work with and ideal for long alpine work or casual mountaineering. I put this rope to the test over 4 seasons. The only reason why I'm retiring mine was due to rockfall damage. 9mm doubles are in a class of their own. Be brave....take the leap of faith from the 10.5's! | | Posted Apr 11, 2003 7:32 pm | | old5ten | Untitled Review | |
Voted 1/5 | I'm a bit confused about the product we're reviewing here. Both Maxim (US) and Mammut (Swiss) are rope manufacturers and I'm not aware of a Mammut rope named Maxim?! | | Posted Nov 22, 2005 2:24 am |
