Product Description

This really should be called the Super Alpine harness - A very good ultralight winter, alpine and expedition harness on the market that is also fine for trad rock climbing. Five gear loops, quick release leg elastics, central belay loop and very, very light. No leg loops to adjust, step through, or unbuckle, make this a doddle to put on when wearing crampons or skis. Very light (thin) waist padding. 350g approx.

Features

  • Low weight and minimal pack size.

  • Twin hypalon ice screw racking strips.

  • Five gear loops.

  • 20mm belay loop rated at 25kn.

  • 44mm minimally padded waist for lightweight comfort.

NanulsGreat Harness

A great all round harness ideal for Alpine and Winter mountaineering due to its easiness to get into even when in full winter clothing and wearing crampons or skis, it can also be used comfortably for trad climbing. Its low weight and compact size means you can keep it in the top pocket of your sack and not even notice its there.

Nanuls' review is right on target. The harness is great for outings were 1) weight is an issue and 2) you won't be 'hanging around'. Only complaint was the difficulty to obtain it in the USA. Had to coordinate with a company from the UK to get it shipped over, but totally worth the effort.
