Voted 5/5 | Used this for a few years now.....nice and light, and compacts quite nicely. Between my closed cell foam pad and this pad, insulation hasn't been a problem whatsoever. For longer trips, I think I'm going to upgrade to a thicker pad....probably something in the 3 inch range. It weighs a bit more, but a good nights' rest is worth the extra couple of pounds (at least in my mind). However, for trips of short duration, I'll continue to use this pad... | | Posted Jun 3, 2002 11:50 pm | | NYC007 | Untitled Review
Voted 5/5 | Very comfortable. I have used it in every season. In winter I use it with a ridge rest though. But it is great, have had a bad nights sleep on it. Its light too, better than the ultra light model, which is to thin. | | Posted Feb 28, 2003 4:35 pm | | tarol | Used it a few times
Voted 4/5 | ...then I discovered air mattress pads like the Insulated Air Core and Insul Mat... and I will never go back to a Therma-rest! They are okay but there are comfier alternatives, IMHO. | | Posted Jan 23, 2007 11:57 pm |
