Mountaineering ice axe with rubberized shaft & ribbed spike
The Goulotte's head is forged and hand finished to a mirror polish. The rubberized shaft improves grip and comfort even when the user is not wearing gloves. A ribbed spike on the end of the shaft ensures better anchoring when the tool is used for balance.

Voted 5/5 | Had this thing for years. It's my understanding they don't make it anymore. I love it, can't find fault besides for some rubber coating rubbing off with wear.
