Voted 4/5 | Bought one of the earlier models of this jacket back in 97. Have used it extensively since for a little bit of everything, cycling, canoe camping, backpacking, mountaineering, climbing, off-shore sailing, travelling, beating around town, golf, and football games. Never been wet, it is an amazing jacket. I have washed it once with nikwax tech-wash. Storm skirt is great for skiing or snowshoe tumbles keeping the powder out. I wish mine had the warmer pockets though. I also think the interior pocket is pretty weak, just a mesh up with draw string. i think a good map pocket, built into the jacket between the zipper and zipper flap like military goretex would be great. | | Posted Mar 2, 2004 9:01 am |
