An upgrade to our nylon windshirt. Super-light, and amazing water repellency. EPIC by Nextec is the perfect solution for people who want to leave the weight of their laminate jackets at home. One of the best things about this jacket is that there is no need to ever use a DWR spray again! If the jacket begins to lose it's repellency due to abrasion, contamination, dirt, grime or anything else, just wash it (no fabric softener please!), dry it, and it's back to normal. No more spraying or recoating!

I used one of these when it was made from Versatech, and it was very useful piece of clothing - light, compact, water repellent, and wind resistant. The only bummer was that there was no pocket on it at all. I found one from another manufacturer that had a pocket that would allow you to stuff the shirt in on itself, and hang it on a gear loop. A "must-have" feature that is unfortunately missing.
