Mainly the heels are nice and roomy. BUt I can see that people with a narrow heel would have some lift problems.
NIcely built, seems to be a quality shoe. The vibram outsole is sticky and with just enough traction for the rough road leading to the climb. I would not climb with it, like I would with D7's for example.
