I've used this biener extensively belaying and rappelling...feels strong and secure, the gate opens very nicely with one handed operation and snaps back closed quickly and cleanly...get one!

I loved mine until I got a DMM Boa Quicklock, which I feel is just plain better. This one cruds up faster; seems to have lotsa room in the locking gate for stuff. Nothing big, might freeze worse though. Great biner!
