Voted 5/5 | I bought this book in the airport, when I interviewed for a job in Vegas in Feb, 1998. More than anything else, the book convinced me I would love this area.
Branch Whitney did every hike multiple times before he wrote it up. He has moved to a website approach, to deal with the rapid growth and ever-changing access here in Vegas. Very important: the book tells you how to get to the start of a hike, and gives you good advice on overcoming the crux. Many of his "hikes" would qualify for rock-climbing elsewhere. | | Posted Jan 19, 2008 8:42 pm |
