Reviews | tradmonkey | Avy 1 | | Voted 5/5 | I took an Avy 1 course with SMI in Jan 2006. The course was very well organized, fun, and moderately priced. Kurt and his assistant (Neil, I think?) did an exceptional job teaching the course and even gave a discount for being a SAR team member. Nothing but good things to say about this course/company. | | Posted Jan 31, 2007 8:14 pm | | mtndonkey | Top Notch | |
Voted 5/5 | I have used SMI a couple of times (Avi 1, Winter Mountaineering) as well as met Kurt and his guides on the mountains. Kurt is a top notch guide and high quality person, all of this transcends down through his guides and company. They do a great job instructing while still making it enjoyable. I highly recommend Kurt and his guide service to anyone. | | Posted Aug 26, 2007 9:24 pm |
