Voted 5/5 | It is a real good jacket against wind, rough weather, rain, snow. It is very strong and won´t rip! It is not as breathable though as TNF says. A T-shirt in summer is way enough and you won´t get cold, in winter it is perfect with a fleece under it.
This is a great jacket for someone who encounters foul weather on a regular basis. This jacket kept me totally dry through a week long mountaineering in the alps where I got snow quite a lot... | | Posted Dec 16, 2005 1:21 pm | | JonW | Too Warm | |
Voted 3/5 | This jacket is actually more then a shell. It doesn't have insulation, but the lining provides much more warmth then a standard Gore Tex shell. It is quite bulky, is too heavy, doesn't compress well, and doesn't provide an athletic fit. If you're looking to get the best out of your layers, I would look for a different jacket. | | Posted Dec 4, 2007 3:42 pm |
